Cumberland City Council, proclaimed in May 2016, is situated 20km west of Sydney and covers 72 square kilometres. All applicants who undertake an interview for this position will be required to produce their vaccination evidence at the time of their interview. Recruitment Process

Council's vacant positions are advertised on our website and all applicants must apply for the role/s they are interested by completing the online application.

The online application involves completing questions regarding the essential criteria for the role.

  • Applications are then screened by the hiring manager, who will select the applicants to interview.
  • Interviews are able to be held both in person and online, depending on requirements.
  • The interview will be conducted by a panel, consisting of the hiring manager, and 2 additional panel members.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Remuneration for each role can be found on the position advertisement, and Council's time to fill a role is between six (6) to eight (8) weeks.
