I love working with data. I spend a lot of time on Excel and our trending software looking for patterns and trying to understand what’s happening in the process.
At the end of the day, it’s knowing that you’ve helped keep people’s lights on but also put the community’s safety as the priority when helping operate the network.
You can think of my role as determining the least cost options to ensure the electricity network is running as efficiently and at the least cost to the customer as possible.
My job is to analyse the datasets to find a better way to make the electricity distributed more efficiently, or work with and support other teams if any data analysis is needed.
