The refinery is a fascinating place to work in and people have been extremely generous with their time and knowledge - something that I’ve valued immensely especially as an engineer at the beginning of my career.
Joining the Upstream Production Graduate Program with Shell has allowed me an insight into both corporate life, as well as having the ability to spend almost two years in the field working a rotational roster.
I am working on three projects at the moment. Two Transmission Line Refurbishment Projects and a Project to Install Phase Monitoring Units at a number of Transgrid Substations.
Amy Phan graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology and is now working as an Asset Maintenance Engineer at Ergon Energy Network/Energex.
