Marzan Akter studied a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in July 2017 and is now a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Zinfra.
What’s the takeaway from my story? That not everything is simple and sometimes the path that we end up taking isn’t the one we had in mind, but the one that is presented to us.
Each day I get to have a visible effect on one of the world’s largest companies, help to shape the industries we operate within, assist customers, as well as be active in the local communities and organizations that are important to me.
A lot of organisations claim that they support flexible work but very few actively encourage it. I am beyond appreciative of being a part of one of these few companies – as an employee at Schneider Electric.
Knowing I’m trusted within my team to manage some of these pieces of work which are critical for Woodside’s operations, highlights the confidence my team and Woodside has in my ability.
