I haven't really done any formal or informal training. The only thing that has been done was an induction week and workshops, however some have felt redundant and a waste of time. Other training I've done, I've signed up for myself.

There is a great deal of training opportunities, including regular training specific to graduates. We also have access to LinkedIn Leaning where you have options to do a variety of training. Specifically in legal we also get to participate in training from a variety of law firms such as Clayton Utz and Piper Alderman. This is great to learn about different areas of law, as well as to network with law graduates and lawyers outside of the organisation.

Graduate program. Rotations in different teams at different stages of projects to develop wide range of knowledge and skills. Cert IV WHS training and multiple professional development workshops that run for a week each. Developed soft skills, knowledge in construction and rail industry, improved excel skills, learnt to use new applications
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Jul 2024
The training was very knowledgeable. We have to undergo Train Track Safety Awareness training and a few other trainings to ensure we understood the rules and regulations to enter the construction site as our job involved that.

During the grad program we attend a welcome week and three weeks split up evenly in the program called Graduate learning series. In these weeks, we learn professional development tips and tricks and get to speak about our experiences in our most recent rotations.

I have completed my RIW and SWIRC training, and am currently completing a Cert IV in Safety as part of the grad program. I have been encouraged to participate in many programs and training directed towards young engineers in the industry, especially for women, including the Constructionarium All Women Build. The grad program also includes the Graduate Learning Series which exposes us to many tools and scenarios to build on our soft skills and leadership skills.

Training days for RIW card and Construction White Card. Masterclasses throughout first rotation to get understanding of overall organisation operations. Cert IV & Graduate Learning Series between rotations. Would prefer to have some more technical training.
Graduate, Melbourne - 05 Jul 2024
WHS Cert IV, White Card, TTSA, SWIRC, RIW, etc. all provided which has allowed for great development. Rotations through different teams (e.g. Safety) has taught me plenty about how different teams are run and what these teams do.

I think we get a really good amount of formal and informal training.

I feel that they are investing a lot into our training and development. There is also many opportunities to join additional trainings that are being offered.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Jun 2024
Some training courses are beneficial but others are not. There is little tailoring to the courses for people who work outside of the typical realms of Comms and Engagement or Engineering.
Graduate, Melbourne - 27 Jun 2024
Structured training in the form of the graduate learning series - centered on self development / communication etc. Training for certificate IV in workplace health and safety is also an excellent measure.
Graduate, Melbourne - 27 Jun 2024
Lots of opportunities not always relevant however

There's an ongoing training program in the graduate program that builds your communication skills and your understanding of the construction and rail industry as a whole. In addition, you're exposed to parts of the business you may never work in, so you get a well-rounded appreciation of the company.
Graduate, Melbourne - 01 Mar 2021
Well structured training on all sorts of things, writing skills, presentations, 101 in different areas.
Graduate, Melbourne - 01 Mar 2021
The amount of training offered at the project surprised me. As a grad, we receive professional and interpersonal development training called the 'graduate learning series'. In my project we also complete a Cert 4 in Work Health and Safety. I have also completed a First Aid course, as well as training that has furthered my writing and comms skills.
