Career Prospects at John Deere

I have been lucky to have had a good progression into my current role. There are probably not as many promotion responsibilities as what there used to be prior to smart industrial. To move up the ranks, you have to prove your value to the company after a minimum of a year I believe, but probably longer

John Deere are very supportive of people moving throughout teams and move upwards in positions. Managers are always open to having development chats to help in ensuring we have the correct skills for a potential job. I have not yet been through the promotion process, however it seems to have a good reputation.

Historically grads have above average promotion opportunities within the company. The exposure to a range of departments on the program sets a grad up for roles within most of the functional areas.

I believe that there will be great career progression. I can not comment on what it takes at this point.
