About the Role

As a Graduate Metallurgist, you may be rotated through different departments dependant on commodity, bringing a unique experience and developing a well-rounded experience. In the area of throughput, we constantly asses our circuit performance to identify bottlenecks. We engineer and modify our assets to ensure we fully utilize our plants' capacities. For yield, we analyse our waste streams to ensure our resource is recovered efficiently. Finally, for cost, we aim to achieve the above in the most cost-effective manner, we do this by reducing waste, reducing consumable usage and maintaining our assets operating at their process optimums.
