Who are we?

If you havenโ€™t heard of us, then we guarantee youโ€™ve heard of our brands. Diageo Australia is the countryโ€™s leading spirits producer with an enviable portfolio of brands including Australiaโ€™s iconic Bundaberg Rum; global giants such as Johnnie Walker, Gordonโ€™s Gin, Baileys, Smirnoff and Captain Morgan; and our premium Reserve brands such as Tanqueray, Aviation Gin and Don Julio. Cocktail culture is thriving across Australia and our industry is vibrant, fast-paced and trend-leading.

Our brand Bundaberg Rum is an Australian legend, and itโ€™s distilled in the heart of Bundaberg. The brand has become part of the fabric of the town, and the surrounds. Dreamt up by 5 entrepreneurs in the local pub trying to figure out what to do with some extra backstrap molasses created by the townโ€™s sugar refinery to become the celebrated brand it is today, Bundaberg Rum is a drink of choice across Australia, representing the larrikin spirit of its consumers. Our site at Bundaberg not only includes a distillery and manufacturing plant creating global award-winning products but also a world-class Visitor Experience Centre that has been celebrated as a tourism destination in QLD.

What about the role?

Are you ready to take your career global? Do you thrive in an environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and constantly evolving? Are you passionate about a career in local manufacturing? If so, then weโ€™d love to have you in our 2025 Graduate Program!

Joining our Bundaberg Graduate program is an incredible start to your career in the manufacturing industry, with the opportunity to work with industry leaders across a 2-year rotational program. Our Bundaberg Graduate will be working hand in hand to produce and improve our most famous local brandโ€™s products while gaining end-to-end practical exposure across the entire supply chain. The Bundaberg Graduate Program will build your knowledge and experience in manufacturing our famous Bundaberg Rum while delivering strategic projects in other key areas of supply that impact our performance and move us closer towards our sustainability objectives.

Where can a career in the Diageo take you?

The advantage of a career at Diageo is that the world is truly your oyster! Not only will you be connected across a successful market like Australia but the opportunity to take your career to the next level overseas post your program completion is possible! We are fortunate to have manufacturing locations globally, with two in Australia. Locally we enjoy the full remit of Supply and manufacturing roles with opportunities to progress your career across Planning, Procurement, Logistics and distribution, Manufacturing, Reliability and Asset Care.

What is the Diageo culture like?

Are you prepared to take risks in the pursuit of greatness?  Do you hold yourself to the highest standards with real accountability for results?  Would you treat the business as if it is truly your own โ€“ because you want your legacy to be worthy of that of our founders? Then, letโ€™s talk!

We are an organisation that creates products that are part of celebrations, and our culture reflects this.  We work flexibly to ensure that you can fit work around your life commitments โ€“ this may be a different location and/or flexible hours.  We are a future-focused organisation, that is constantly wanting to perform better and to continue our growth.

Another highlight is collaborating with our partners who operate in different markets. This provides a new perspective and invaluable insights into the broader global landscape, extending far beyond the borders of Australia.

There are some great events, activations, and brands, but my favourite thing about Diageo is the opportunity for an international career.
