DoT STEM Graduate Program 

Our STEM Graduate Program is a 3-year development program consisting of six 6-month rotations across your discipline. The first 2 years as a graduate you will receive tailored learning and development, mentoring & exposure days across the Victorian transport network; the 3rd year will be about accreditation. Graduates generally undergo a regional rotation to gain valuable hands-on experience in a booming area of our business. 

  • VPS 3 salary ($72,751 – $80,545) – level dependent on qualification
  • Professional development focusing on business, technical and leadership skills
  • Regional (or metro for regional grads) based rotation – Relocation and living allowance provided
  • Structured senior executive mentorship

We're recruiting for the following roles: 

  • STEM Graduate – IT Engineer
  • STEM Graduate - Data Scientist
  • STEM Graduate – Advanced Analytics Officer
  • STEM Graduate – Information and Data Analyst
  • STEM Graduate – Information and Business Analyst
  • STEM Graduate - Automation Tester

We're looking for people who have: 

  • Completed an undergraduate or postgraduate studies in a Data, Technology, or Engineering based discipline prior to commencement of the program & within the past 3 years.
  • Keen attitude and willingness to learn and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Ability to learn and solve problems whilst acquiring knowledge & understanding critical business processes
  • Commitment to ensuring a safe working environment, workplace, & community
  • Ability to work & collaborate within a team environment
  • Customer focused with an enthusiastic and proactive approach to serving the community
  • You need full unrestricted working rights for the full 3 years that you will be part of the program.
