As Events Operations Assistant you will assist in the coordination of staffing for events and out of store activations including experiential campaigns. In addition, you will also assist the account and operations management team with campaigns in-store (demonstrations, sampling, merchandising).

Tasks involved include, but are not limited to, liaison with the organisers, venues, staff recruitment, scheduling and rostering field staff and working closely with the account management teams.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Rostering staff across multiple campaigns and events
  • Recruitment and retention of staff
  • Troubleshooting any issues in the field when a campaign/event goes live
  • Working within cross-functional teams to coordinate the implementation of campaigns and events
  • Assistance with the ongoing training of new and existing field staff
  • Meeting assistance in conjunction with the Account Director(s) and Executive face to face or on Teams, participating in client WIPs and training
  • Assistance on-site at events, which will include travelling
  • Assisting the team in the event management process from event conception, design, production, build, delivery and reporting.

We are looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:

  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written)
  • Eager to learn, self-motivated and a positive can-do attitude
  • A hands-on approach to organising campaigns and events
  • Ability to work in a small team with limited supervision
  • Highly organised and able to multi-task and adhere to short deadlines
  • Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (eg. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
