      Current opportunity 

      We currently have an opportunity available for a People & Culture Administrator/Graduate to join our People & Culture team. The P&C team are a high-performing, engaged and supportive team. This opportunity is for an initial four month contract, with the possibility of being extended to a permanent role for the right candidate. It is a great entry level position for someone looking to commence their career in Human Resources. This role is responsible for providing operational and administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle with a focus on onboarding, employee movements, learning and development, performance reviews, employee engagement, wellbeing, WH&S and People and Culture projects.

      Duties for this position will include but not be limited to:

      • Coordinating the on boarding and off boarding processes for all new starters and leavers.
      • Staff movements including maintaining spreadsheet, coordinating and creation of letters, communicating to appropriate teams
      • Work with other members of the People & Culture team to coordinate and promote the employee Wellbeing Program, BDO benefits and engagement surveys/initiatives
      • Records management including maintaining digital People and Culture records including employee files and coding team expenses in BDO Finance system
      • Workplace Health & Safety including maintaining records of Fire Wardens and First Aid Officers and coordinate the maintenance of the First Aid kits and arrange ergonomic workstation assessments and process recommendations as required
      • Providing assistance with the annual remuneration review process as required, this includes managing the letter preparation process
      • Assist the People and Culture Coordinator with the CA program including coordinating the logistics for enrolment, in house focus sessions, study support and results
      • Assist with other departmental activities and projects as appropriate and practice the principles of excellent client service at all times.
      • Prepare and submit people reports, including gender reporting, leave and CPD reports and other ad hoc reporting
      • Provide further assistance to the P&C Coordinator and other members of the P&C team as required.

      What you'll need to succeed

      • Tertiary qualifications in HR/Business Management degree (or equivalent);
      • Administration or HR experience in a medium to large sized organisation would be desirable however not essential;
      • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
      • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality at all times;
      • Strong Excel skills;
      • Excellent organisation and time management skills;
      • Comfortable and confident in facilitating regular new starter inductions and training;
      • Energetic in a fast paced environment and comfortable being the point of contact for the team;
      • Embodies strong attention to detail and brings a positive, self-motivated approach to the role.
